Individually designed programs best meet the needs of a person with autism. Those with autism should be learning, living and working in settings where there is ample opportunity to communicate and interact with others who have the skills they lack.
Fun in the Gym
The gymnastics gym provides an enriching environment filled with opportunities for social skills development, taking turns, and developing body awareness, control and coordination.
It’s a sensory-rich environment where kids can run, jump on the springboard, trampoline or into the foam pit, climb ropes or balance on the beams. The programming is flexible and supervision will be at a level of 1 staff to 1 or 2 participants as needed.
