Mental Health & Wellness Team (MHWT)

The MHWT is continuing to offer both in-person and virtual individual counselling and groups. We support clients with navigating funding options, transitioning to adulthood, and referring to other agencies. In addition, we provide information about other services in the community and offer basic autism education and training to community organizations. In July, we hosted a virtual psycho-educational information session on ASD. This information session supports individuals and families with understanding the autism spectrum, what supports and resources are available to autistic individuals and their families in the community, and where to go to get an autism assessment. We will continue to offer our virtual autism information session every two months – the next information session is scheduled for September 15th from 6:00-7:00 PM.
