Mental Health & Wellness Team (MHWT)

At the end of February the Mental Health and Wellness Team had the opportunity to participate in a two-day virtual training. The training focused on using a collaborative strength-based family therapy approach when working with high-risk adolescents. Our Mental Health Team continues to offer individual counselling support to new and existing clients, community referrals, and funding support both in-person and virtually. This month, we had 13 families participate in the virtual psycho-educational information session on ASD. Additionally, the PERMA self-care group for parents is more than halfway complete and is going really well.
