Individually designed programs best meet the needs of a person with autism. Those with autism should be learning, living and working in settings where there is ample opportunity to communicate and interact with others who have the skills they lack.
Family Programs
Family Programs are excited to deliver their winter sessions, even during a polar vortex! With this block, we successfully launched two new programs to our community. We partnered up with the Saskatoon Diving Club and introduced an advanced 10-week Learn To Dive class. We also explored a new Group Art Therapy class that focuses on the principles of Art Therapy but in a group setting where peers can create art together. We are in the early stages but our launch is off to a great start! Even during this time in our lives, Family Programs remains accessible and safe. Thanks to all of those who have adapted to these changes and enjoy the winter season!
