Individually designed programs best meet the needs of a person with autism. Those with autism should be learning, living and working in settings where there is ample opportunity to communicate and interact with others who have the skills they lack.

This is Isaac! From Isaac’s mom, Sara:
“Isaac enjoyed the camp and was excited about the outings. He always had a big smile after the camp. He also woke up early and wanted to get ready to attend the camp. He loves to visit the farm, Pike Lake, Apex, etc. I personally like all the staff. Very responsible, friendly, and they let me know how Isaac did every time I picked him up. Staff told me that he was the only one that was brave enough to stick his arm into the cow’s mouth. The camp allowed him to: gain confidence, interact with others, improve his communication skills through fun activities, get some fresh air, and learn team work. With all the activities, he had a great experience and always asks when he can go again. I can tell he really enjoyed it.”
