Individuals with autism tend to be diverse. Therefore, it is difficult to use words such as all or none when describing this group.
Adult Support Programs (ASP)
The participants in our Adult Support Programs had a fun and busy summer! They enjoyed typical summer activities like long walks, Kinsmen Park, Pike Lake, the Zoo, and visits to Walter Lane. They also joined in on some community events like The Ex and Folk Fest and attended a few shared backyard barbeques and birthday celebrations. We had a barbeque picnic at the Forestry farm for staff, participants and families. We had good weather and a great turnout! This was our first larger gathering since before the pandemic, so it was fun to reconnect with everyone.
