Approximately 50% of all savants have autism, while only about five to ten percent of individuals with autism possess extraordinary savant skills.
Adult Support Programs (ASP)
The participants in our Adult Support Programs have been busy this fall. They met for a Scavenger Hunt, a Fall Craft Making session and are looking forward to Halloween. They will attend Halloween dances hosted by other agencies as well as one planned by our own staff. Many have returned to attending Special Olympics activities and Adult Club with our Family Programs Department. We have enjoyed the beautiful weather this fall and are thankful for time spent with family over Thanksgiving weekend.
