Individuals with autism tend to be diverse. Therefore, it is difficult to use words such as all or none when describing this group.
Over the last month we have enjoyed being able to get out and enjoy the spring weather. Gardens have been planted, and it’s exciting to watch for growth and enjoy the colorful flowers while relaxing outside. The participants in our programs look forward to more restrictions lifting so they can make plans for the summer. We hope to get our 2nd dose of Covid19 vaccine soon and are waiting to hear when we will be able to arrange another clinic.
We celebrated our staff during Disability Service Professionals week from May 24th to 28th. We are proud to have a group of very dedicated and competent staff! During the same week we also met with staff over zoom and recognized everyone for their years of service with Autism Services. Together our team shares many years of experience in working with people on the Autism spectrum. Thank you for everything you do to support people to live their best lives.
