Adult Support Program (ASP)

We currently serve 30 adults with ASD in our community homes and day program. The primary focus of our Adult Support Programs is to be person centred and support each participant to achieve their own goals. Staff in our Adult Support Programs are trained in the principles of Gentle Teaching and Comprehensive Personal Planning and Support Policies. It is our hope that each person we support will feel safe and loved, loving and engaged; and will be empowered to make personal decisions. Individuals are encouraged to build new skills, and participate in work, recreational, and educational opportunities. Throughout the weeks, the participants enjoy a wide range of activities including: swimming, baking, art, office cleaning, bowling, volunteering with community organizations, community events and more! We will continue working on our goal to support each participants’ quality of life, and provide opportunities for enrichment in their homes and communities. We are grateful and we look forward to this Holiday Season with hope!
