Approximately 50% of all savants have autism, while only about five to ten percent of individuals with autism possess extraordinary savant skills.
Autism Intervention Program (AIP)
We’re excited to share that a new Autism Consultant, Noel Durand, joined our team this month – welcome, Noel! We wrapped up two Parent Management Training (PMT) groups for parents of children five years and younger earlier in the month. Our New Teen Network group kicked off this month also. We are starting to plan and prepare for our Winter therapy block. We continue to welcome many new children, youth and their families to our Autism Intervention Program.
