Autism is not caused by a lack of love, and it is not cured by punishment. Parents need support to manage difficult behaviours with structure and consistency.
ABA Little Tots Program
The Little Tots had tons of fun dressing up as some of their favorite characters for Halloween at the center. They also liked to see some of their therapists dressed up as well. At our most recent PD day, the behavior therapists engaged in some block building team building activities that focused on the importance of communication as a team and reviewed different information about reinforcement vs demands. We continue to celebrate all of the small and large victories we see everyday.
