People do not grow out of autism. Autism is a lifelong disorder; however, the manifestation of symptoms may change over time. While there is yet no known cure, autism is definitely treatable.
ABA Little Tots
The Little Tots Program has two new behavior therapists that began this month, Sonia and Tyra. Sonia has a psychology degree and experience working with kids diagnosed with ASD in a home setting. Aside from working for us part-time, Sonia is also working towards completing a masters in counselling psychology online. Tyra comes to us with years of experience as a nanny for multiple families, 4 years experience as a childcare worker in a daycare setting, and a psychology degree.
The therapists have been busy teaching new skills and the little ones are really enjoying playing outdoors more as the weather gets nicer.
