Family Programs Easter Day Camp 2022

Date posted March 28, 2022

We are pleased to announce that we will be running an Easter Day Camp this April 2022!  The format of our day camp has changed so please read through the details below:

There are two options for day camps: your child will only be considered for one of the two camp options outlined below.  The camps are based on the level of support your child requires.

If your child has attended our summer day camps in the past, please use the following information when selecting which option best suits your child:  ● Option 1 = Summer Adventure campers  ● Option 2 = Fun in the City campers

**NEW – HOW TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A DAY CAMP SPOT**

Due to the high demand and limited spots for our day camps, we are trying something new this year to ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to try for a day camp spot for their child.
What does this mean?  We will be doing a draw for all of our day camp spots.  Parent/Guardian’s will email me directly to request an entry to our draw.  Once we have reached our deadline for entries, everyone who has submitted their request to me will be entered in our draw.  From there, we will use an online randomizer to determine who will be able to register into our Easter day camps.  (Note: Since we are offering two separate camps, we will be making two separate draws)

When can I enter the draw?
Between now, Monday March 28 to Thursday, March 31 at 4 PM  (Any entries outside of this time frame will not be entered)

How do I enter?
Reply to this email (familyreg@autismservices.ca) directly during the dates/times outlined above and include the following information:

1. Full name of child
2. Child’s age
3. Which day camp option best suites your child’s level of support (#1 or #2)
4. Does your child require more than one program worker at day camp?  If yes, how many total?
5. Parent/Guardian’s full name
6. Email address
7. Phone number

**If you have multiple children, please answer questions 1 through 4 for each child in one email reply**

When will the draw be made?
Monday, April 4

How will I know if my child does or does not get into Easter day camp?
We will email everyone who entered by end of day on Monday, April 4.  If we are unable to accommodate your child into our day camp, we will place them on our wait list.
