Approximately 50% of all savants have autism, while only about five to ten percent of individuals with autism possess extraordinary savant skills.
Celebrate Autism! Window Walk
April 1 - April 30
Show your support for Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month by putting puzzle pieces in your windows. It’s something fun you can do as a family or an individual. And it’s a very recognizable way to show you Celebrate Autism!
As part of the celebration, we’re holding weekly prize draws. How can you enter the draws?
- Post photos of your decorated windows in the Discussion of our Facebook “Celebrate Autism! Window Walk” event here: https://fb.me/e/45b2FByTb ,
- Email your photos to Carol Tebay, Development Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or
- Tag Autism Services (@AutismServicesSaskatoon) when you post your photos on your personal Facebook page; make sure your post isn’t listed as “private” (or we won’t be able to see you)
Although we can’t gather in person, we can still Celebrate Autism! Please share this among your networks. Everyone is welcome to participate. Let’s see how many households put up puzzle pieces to celebrate Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month!
