Autism is not caused by a lack of love, and it is not cured by punishment. Parents need support to manage difficult behaviours with structure and consistency.

Gatsby Night for Autism

2019 Gatsby Facebook cover

Gatsby Night…the best party in town!

Travel back to the Roarin’ 20′s for this one-of-a-kind event. Set on the streets of Boom Town at the Western Development Museum, we invite you to join the party as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary.

Test ‘Lady Luck’ at our prize casino, move to the swinging sounds of the Toon Town Big Band, and capture the moment with our Photo Booth, as we raise money for Autism Services’ Family Programs.

Tickets are $100 ($30 Monte Carlo fee included). The party starts at 7:00 PM and includes finger foods, and cash bar. LB Distillers is providing a Welcome Cocktail as guests arrive.

Contact our office at 306-665-7013 or admin@autismservices.ca to purchase your tickets.

In addition to ticket sales and sponsorships, we’re raising money at the event through Silent and Sponsor-a-Child Auctions and a Jail ‘n Bail.

Sponsor-a-Child Auction

Each year, Autism Services sponsors over 80 Family Programs registrations for families unable to afford the fee. We’re asking our supporters to help us cover these costs by sponsoring Family Programs registrations – each  Sessional Registration is $150 and each Day Camp registration is $300.

If you’d like to Sponsor-a-Child or sponsor Gatsby Night, click HERE for Sponsor Package information. Contact Carol Tebay, Development Coordinator at ctebay@autismservices.ca or 306-241-2308 for more information and to make your sponsorship.

About our Family Programs

Our Family Programs offer modified and supported recreational programs for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); programs they would be unable to access in typical settings. We offer sessional programs (e.g. swimming, gymnastics, music therapy) and school break and summer day camps. Through these activities they build social capacities and make lasting friendships in active and meaningful ways.

It costs approximately $565,000 to run our Family Programs each year. Although government funding and registration fees cover 38%, we still must raise $236,000 to cover the remainder, relying on grants and fundraising to accomplish this – that’s why our GATSBY NIGHT fundraiser is so important to our work!

Thank you to our event sponsors
