LOOKING TO COMPLEMENT your education with practical knowledge and skills?

For more information or to book an appointment to meet with our Program Coordinator, Erin Bentley.

 Welcome to Autism Services

Volunteers are essential team members in the successful delivery of recreational and social programs for children and teens at Autism Services. We encourage you to review our site to familiarize yourself with our organization. You will find this section most helpful if you start by reading Current Program Volunteer Opportunities and then Questions and Answers.

These are the steps to becoming a program volunteer:

  1. Print off the Program Volunteer Application Form, and fill it.  Attach a current resume to the application form.
  2. Call the Program Coordinator and book a time to come into our office for a volunteer intake appointment to determine your suitability for a volunteer placement and give you more information about volunteering in our programs.  Bring your completed volunteer application form and resume with you to the intake appointment.
  3. Once the intake appointment has been completed and we say “yes” to each other then we will ask you to go an obtain a current criminal record check.
  4. Once we have received your criminal record check you will be placed in a mutually agreed upon program and begin your volunteer experience. Our volunteer openings occur in September/October, January and April of each year.
