Permanent Full Time Residential Key Worker Position

Duties:

• Assist individuals with autism in a group home setting with daily living skills.
• Accompany individuals on recreational outings.
• Assist with day to day activities in the home.
• Assist in planning and implementing programs for assigned individual. 
• Responsible for doctor appointments for assigned individual, and communicating information to parents and other staff.
• Responsible for the day to day operating of the group home along with other key workers, and for providing leadership to part time and casual staff.
• Must attend all staff meetings and be a contributing member of our team.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with special needs or autism is preferred.  Leadership skills are an asset, as well as a Rehabilitation Worker Certificate or equivalent.   

Details:

Hours would include a set weekly schedule consisting of Wednesday 4 pm – 10 pm, Thursday 3 pm - 12 am and overnight until 10 a.m. on Friday,  Friday 3 pm - 12 am and overnight until 10 am on Saturday, and Saturday 4 pm - 10 pm.  The candidate for this position is eligible for our benefits package.

The starting salary for this position is $15.89 per awake hour and $11.33 per asleep hour.
