Permanent Full Time Residential Key Worker Position
Duties:
-
Assist individuals with autism in a group home setting with daily
living skills.

Accompany individuals on recreational outings.

Assist with day to day activities in the home.

Assist in planning and implementing programs for assigned
individual.

Responsible for doctor appointments for assigned individual, and
communicating information to parents and other staff.

Responsible for the day to day operating of the group home along
with other key workers, and for providing leadership to part time
and casual staff.

Must attend all staff meetings and be a contributing member of our
team.
Qualifications:
-
Experience working with individuals with special needs or autism is
preferred. Leadership skills are an asset, as well as a
Rehabilitation Worker Certificate or equivalent.
Details:
Hours would
include a set weekly schedule
consisting of Wednesday 4 pm – 10 pm, Thursday 3 pm - 12 am and
overnight until 10 a.m. on Friday, Friday 3 pm - 12 am and
overnight until 10 am on Saturday, and Saturday 4 pm - 10 pm. The candidate for this
position is eligible for our benefits package.
The starting salary
for this position is $15.89 per awake hour and $11.33 per asleep hour.
